ACTION CONTINUITY [Film Technology]

ACTION CONTINUITY
[Film Technology]

To give the editor a choice of cutting points, actions are always overlapped at the front end of a scene. Extra care is needed when, within a scene, additional items are continuously progressing either actual as with traveling shots, or simulated as with clocks. Consumable items such as drink, food, cigarettes require constant watching and replenishing to maintain continuity. An instant colour picture is a useful adjacent to making continuity reports.
