Shorter wavelength. 440nm. A primary
colour. Complementary colours of blue are
magenta, combination red
and blue,, cyan-
combination of blue and green.
To darken the colour, use a filter of opposite
colour i.e. yellow (red + green). To lighten up
blue colour use blue colour filter. Red, Green and Blue are known as the additive
primaries.
