It may be necessary to use
a quieter camera while recording
sound also with pictures,
to cover a noisy camera with blankets or a
barney (16 mm cameras especially, are
notoriously noisy) use a lens which does not trumpet the camera noise if this
is a problem, shoot through a glass fronted blimp.
Another name is camera blanket.
