Camera battery connection

Many 12v cameras are fitted with a four pin XLR canon plug connected [1] Pin-1-12v DC negative(-)
power supply to camera. [2] Pin-2- Pilotone and sync marker
system, connected to pin-2 or 3 pin canon plug
on battery case[there must be a 68 ohm resistance in each battery
case between pins1&2]. [3] Pin-3-Pilotone and
sync marker to pin-1 of 3 pin canon plug
as above. [4] Pin-4-12 v DC Positive (+) to camera. Note it is most important
to check that polarity is not reversed.
