Individual cameras
always be identified by serial number which is either engraved or the camera body, or on a plate attached to it. The
location of serial number is not always obvious especially where they are
hidden by a cover or component or are inside the camera. A knowledge of where
numbers are to found is particularly necessary when passing through
international custom posts.
